HOW TO BUY ON AUGUSTO

To make a purchase on Augusto is it necessary to be registered? How do I register?

Registration is required in order to shop on AuGusto.

You can access the website using your Facebook profile by clicking on Connect using Facebook button or you can follow an easy registration procedure.

  • Open the website online shop AuGusto on your browser;
  • Click top right button “Log in or sign up”;
  • Click on “Sign up”;
  • Fill in the form with the required data;
  • Accept Terms and Conditions and click on “Proceed”

You will receive confirmation e-mail to the address you provided during the signing up process. From that moment on you will be able to start shopping on augustoitalianfood.com

Is a minimum order required?

No minimum order is required in Italy. Delivery is free in Europe for orders above 115 Euros.

How do I know that my order has been confirmed?

Once the order completed you will receive confirmation e-mail on the address you provided when you signed up.

Shouldn’t you receive the e-mail, please check your Spam or Junk mail folders. If you are a Gmail user, please also check the “Promotions” folder.

Problems signing up/shopping. What to do.

If you have any problems completing a purchase on the AuGusto website, we suggest you update your browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Safari) to the latest version.

PAYMENTS

What payment methods can I use on AuGusto?

On AuGusto you can use the following methods:

  • PayPal
  • Credit Card
  • Bank Transfer
  • Cash on delivery with a 5 Euros delivery fee (Italy only)

Which Credit Cards are accepted?

  • Visa/Visa Electron
  • Mastercard/Maestro
  • American Express
  • Aura
  • Discover

The Website doesn’t retain the credit card’s number. No fees are charged on credit card transactions.

How does the PayPal payment work?

Once the order confirmed you will be readdressed to the PayPal website where you will be able to pay using your account or using a card, even prepaid, or anyway within the PayPal guidelines and respecting their Terms and Conditions.

How does the bank transfer work?

The bank transfer has to be made within 3 days from placing the order. If no bank transfer is received within this timeframe, the order will be cancelled. You may be contacted by one of our customer care representatives in order to clarify whether you want to cancel your order.

In the bank transfer reference you will need to indicate the date and order number as specified in the confirmation e-mail and the client’s name and surname (example: “Ordine 15/05/15 n. 100010001, Mario Rossi”).

The bank transfer is credited on the beneficiary’s bank account (XQ Food SRL) not before 2/3 working days after placing it.

How does cash on delivery work?

This payment method is only available in Italy and only for orders below 516 Euros. The payment will be cash only and will be completed upon receiving the items. For cash on delivery payments, the Client has to pay a delivery fee of 5 Euros.

Are my payments safe?

Paying by credit card on AuGusto is easy, quick and safe. In order to guarantee the maximum of protection, transactions are made through the PayPal safe server.

www.augustoitalianfood.com doesn’t keep any credit card record and uses SSL (https) encryption technology that encrypts the information sent during navigation.

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY

How much are deliveries in Italy?

For parcels below 10 kilos there is a delivery fee of 6 Euros.

For parcels above 10 kilos there is a delivery fee of 10 Euros.

Delivery time

For deliveries in Europe we use Road Europe SDA: the delivery time is 2-4 days from the order’s evasion for all destinations in Europe based on the destination. Delivery times may vary for reasons beyond our control.

Orders received from Monday to Friday, excluding festivities and public holidays, are evaded on the same day if placed before 1pm, on the following working day of placed after 1pm. Orders received on Saturdays and Sundays are evaded on the following Monday.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of your order by accessing your personal area. In your section there is a list of your orders and their status.

In the parcel I received something is missing or ther is the wrong product. What shall I do?

If a product is missing from your order you can contact our customer care by clicking on “Contact us” or writing an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You will need to specify the order’s number and the wrong or missing product that we will send you to your address within 24/48 hours for Italy.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Can I give back a product if I am not happy with it?

Please contact our customer service and they deal with your request.

Only sealed items can be returned. We will pay the return fees only if the products are defective or damaged during transport.

How can I return products?

You have the right to cancel and return the goods within 14 from receiving them, without any need to explain your reasons and without any penalties. You will need to inform us of the cancellation of your order through signed for mail addressed to:

Once we receive the return notice, we’ll open a return procedure and our customer service will contact you to agree on the return methods that will be charged to you using the courier we will recommend.

Once we receive the returned products, we will refund the full amount using the same payment method you used to buy the products unless you require otherwise.

How can I modify my profile information?

In order to modify your profile, please log onto the Client area using your e-mail address and password, select the “Modify” button in “Contact information” (if you want to change name, e-mail and password).

In order to modify the delivery or the invoicing address it is necessary to select the “Modify” button in the menu “predetermined delivery address” or “predetermined invoicing address”

What happens if I forget my password?

You can change your password using the form linked here. Just add the e-mail you use to register and you will receive a link that will allow you to create a new password.

Are my data safe?

Data transmitted to the website’s owner during the registration of the “contact form” or of the section “client account” available on the website itself, will be treated within the regulations of the d.lgs 196/2003, code regulating personal data protection.
