How to make a purchase

Thanks to AuGusto customers are able to choose and shop from the comfort of their homes a wide range of products made in Italy by renowned manufacturers. Online shopping on augustoitalianfood.com is pleasant, interesting and, above all, very straightforward.  Every day we try to make our online store stress-free and more intuitive.

Do you know what you are looking for? Look for the products you prefer and once you select an item click on the icon Add; at the end of your shopping, click on Shopping Cart (top right of your screen).

You will see the list of products you’ve chosen and their price. If you’ve selected something you don’t want to buy, click on the Remove icon. When you are happy with the products in your cart, click Checkout.

If you are not a registered user you will be asked to fill a form with personal data in order to complete your order. Please note that some fields are mandatory.

If you are a registered user you will need to add/modify data relevant to this transaction. If you don’t need to modify anything, just click on Continue. You can modify the shipping address: the following screen will show you the shipping options and prices. Click on Continue to move on to the payment page; select the type of payment and click on the Continue icon. Check again your data, shipping options and total due. If you don’t need to modify anything, click on Buy.

Our team will promptly process your order as soon as we receive it.

We will send you a confirmation mail with a number of purchase you can use to track your order. 

There isn’t a minimum order purchase amount. All prices are in Euro and include all taxes.

Delivery information

Orders placed from Monday to Friday, excluding italian public holidays are processed on the same day if received before 1 PM, or on the next working day if received after 1 PM. Orders received on Saturdays or Sundays are processed on the following Monday.

The order is usually processed the day after purchase if the payment method used is credit card or PayPal, the day after the payment received if the method is bank transfer.

In Europe orders are dispatched using courier Road Europe SDA. Deliveries take place 2-4 working days after the order is processed for all European countries. Delivery times vary from country to country. Delivery times may vary for reasons beyond our control.

The service includes two delivery attempts to the address you provided upon placing your order. After two unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be kept free of charge at the courier facilities for 10 days. During these 10 days, the client can directly contact the courier and agree on a time slot or provide a new address for delivery.

Once your order confirmed, you will be redirected to the PayPal website where you will be able to complete your payment using your account or by card, even pre-paid, or as allowed by PayPal and within their terms and conditions.

Bank Transfer

Bank transfers must be received within 3 days since placing the order. If no bank transfer is received within this timeframe, the order will be cancelled. You may be contacted by one of our customer care representatives in order to clarify whether you want to cancel your order.

In the bank transfer reference you will need to indicate the date and order number as specified in the confirmation e-mail and the client’s name and surname (example: “Ordine 15/05/15 n. 100010001, Mario Rossi”)

The bank transfer is credited on the beneficiary’s account (XQ Food SRL) 2—3 days after placing it.


La causale del bonifico dovrà indicare la data, il numero dell'ordine, reperibili nell'email di conferma, il nome e cognome dell'ordinante (es. "Ordine 15/05/15 n. 100010001, Mario Rossi").

Il bonifico effettuato viene accreditato sul conto corrente del beneficiario (XQ Food S.r.l.) non prima di 2/3 giorni lavorativi dalla sua esecuzione.

Invoicing

Should the purchase be made by a VAT registered professional or by a company, the invoice can be requested by ticking the relevant box while placing the order, and adding the invoicing details including “codice fiscale” (Italy) and/or VAT registration number. In this case the invoice will be sent via e-mail to the address provided by the client. The VAT registered company or professional is responsible for correctly entering the invoicing data and is clearly informed that invoices must be requested while placing the order, and that it won’t be possible to request them at a later stage.

Tracking your order

As soon as we receive your order you will receive confirmation e-mail with a tracking number. You will be able to track your order on the SDA website that will be sent you in the confirmation e-mail. 

Returns made easy

We take extra care in packing our products before delivery. We are not responsible for damages that may happen once we hand our parcels to the courier; however we are on your side should items be damaged in transit.

 In order to help you solving any problems, we suggest you accept the courier’s parcel “Subject to control” and write “Subject to control” on the waybill together with the reasons for not accepting the parcel (example: damaged item, open parcel, wet or dented box…). This is crucial information for us in order to complain to the courier and get a refund.
